This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction directing the first and second respondents to provide adequate Police protection while surveying the petitioner's properties.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the leaned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) takes notice for first and second respondents and the learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the third respondent and perused the materials available on record. 2/5

The petitioner owns the properties comprised in S.No.479/2A measuring to an extent of 0.98.50 hectares, S.No.479/2B measuring to an extent of 0.60.50 hectares and in S.No.480/2B measuring to an extent of 0.95.05 hectares, situated at Berigai Village, Shoolagiri Taluk, Krishnagiri District. In order to fence the same, the petitioner submitted an application to survey the properties before the third respondent along with the requisite fees. When the Surveyor came to the petitioner's properties to survey, the fourth respondent objected to the same. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation seeking police protection to survey the properties.

In view of the above, the Surveyor, while surveying the petitioner's properties, if he finds any obstruction at the hands of the fourth respondent, the Surveyor can seek police protection before the second respondent to survey the petitioner's property. On such request, the second respondent is directed to conduct an enquiry and pass orders to provide adequate police protection to the Surveyor to survey the petitioner's properties forthwith.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
