Respondents PRAYER:- Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records of the 1st respondent in Appeal No.C1/7721/2015 dated 13.01.2016 and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondents to remove the name of the petitioner from the history sheet H.S.No.352/2006 on the file of the 1st respondent herein within time frame fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

The prayer in the writ petition reads as follows: "To call for the records of the 1st respondent in Appeal No.C1/7721/2015 dated 13.01.2016 and

quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondents to remove the name of the petitioner from the history sheet H.S.No.352/2006 on the file of the 1st respondent herein within time frame fixed by this Court. "

2. The Inspector of Police, Mayiladuthurai vide his communication dated 28.06.2022 addressed to the Government Pleader has stated that the name of the petitioner has been removed from history sheet maintained by the said police station in the year 2019. Hence, the prayer in the Writ Petition has become infructuous.

3. Recording the same, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infrucuous. No costs.
