PRAYER : This petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Habeaus Corpus, directing the 1st respondent to produce the person named Deepa @ Deepika aged about 24 years, who is suspected to be in the illegal custody of respondents 3 to 8 and their men before this Court and to set her liberty forthwith.

O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by N.KIRUBAKARAN,J.) The matter is heard through video-conferencing. 2.The father of the detenue has filed the present petition, contending that his daughter Deepa @ Deepika aged about 24 years is missing. Therefore he has given a complaint on 12.07.2020 alleging that the respondents 3 to 8 would have kidnapped his daughter.

3.When the matter is called today, the detenue is present before this Court through video conferencing and she would submit that she got married one Tamil @ Tamil Selvan, the 3rd respondent herein and the marriage was celebrated on 12.07.2020 at Chengalpattu. She also admitted that on her own wish, she left from her house with the 3rd respondent.

4. The petitioner along with his wife and family members are also present before this Court through video conferencing. Mr.S.Ezhil, the petitioner would submit that he wanted to confirm the safety and security of his daughter/alleged detenue. Though she has already got married the 3rd respondent, the petitioner has got no interest with the said marriage. He informed that he is satisfied with the safety of his daughter.

5. In view of the above said position, this petition is closed.
