The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition praying for a Writ of Mandamus to register her complaint dated 01.05.2015 and investigate the same in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

3. It is seen that the petitioner sent a complaint by post. The petitioner is directed to give the complaint in person and on such complaint being given, the respondent Police is directed to conduct enquiry and during the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, a regular case shall be registered, following the decision laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari Vs.
