ORDER

Mrs.P.T.Ramadevi, learned standing counsel takes notice on behalf of the respondent.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned standing counsel for the respondent.

3. Though the wider relief is sought for against one Manjula whose name appears in the Death Certificate issued by the respondent who has not been impleaded in this writ petition, I am inclined to dispose of this writ petition by directing the respondent to conduct an enquiry and take a considered decision on the representation dated 09.05.2022 of the petitioner whether to delete the name of Manjula before substituting with the name of the petitioner in the Death Certificate issued for the death of C.Thanigai Vel who died on 15.03.2022.

4. It is made clear that before changing the entries in the Death Certificate, Manjula whose name appears in the death certificate issued by the respondent shall be heard.

5. This exercise shall be carried out by the respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. This Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
