The petitioner has come forward with this Criminal Original Petition to quash the F.I.R. in Crime No.755 of 2002 registered by the first respondent police for the offences under Sections 39(1) and 44(1)(c) of Indian Electricity Act, 1920, as against him.

Side) appearing for the first respondent submitted that after registration of F.I.R., the first respondent had conducted investigation and closed as 'Further action dropped on 07.07.2003 itself'.
