It is stated that the third respondent-District Collector, Kancheepuram has sent a proposal in Na.Ka.No.18272/2010/A3 dated 22.06.2010 to the second respondent-The Commissioner of Revenue Administration, for including the name of the petitioner in the panel for promotion to the post of Tahsildar for the year 2006 above one Tmt.V.Banumathi. In turn, the second respondent has also forwarded the same to the first respondent-The Secretary to Government, Revenue Department, in his proceedings in letter No.Na.Ka.Pani 3(1)/ 35443/2010 dated 23.03.2011.

2. In these circumstances, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the first respondent to pass orders on the aforesaid proposal of the District Collector as forwarded by the 2nd respondent within a period of 4 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
