This Petition has been filed before this Court under the caption "For extension of time" along with the report sent by the learned I Additional Principal Judge, III Additional Principal Judge i/c, Family Court, Chennai, in Dis.No.1094 of 2019 dated 16.04.2019.

It is seen from the records, while disposing the petition in Crl.O.P.No.21299 of 2017, this Court by an order dated 23.08.2018, directed the trial Court to complete the trial proceedings in M.C.No.287 of 2006, within a period of six months. However, the learned I Additional Principal Judge, III Additional Principal Judge i/c, Family Court, Chennai, has sent communication dated 16.04.2019 in Dis.No.1094 of 2019, narrating the sequence of proceedings in M.C.No.287 of 2006 and sought further period of six months time to complete the trial in the said case.

Considering the above facts and circumstances of this case, this Court is inclined to grant six months time to complete the trial in M.C.No.287 of 2006 from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 30.04.2019 vsn/mpa http://www.judis.nic.in
