Mr.T.K.Saravanan, learned Government Advocate, on instructions, submits that the Tahsildar has submitted a report to the Water Resources Department that there was illegal extraction of the groundwater in S.No.226 of Sithalapakkam Village, Tambaram Taluk, and decision is taken to make a fence around the well in S.No.226 and the same would be done within one month.

3. In view of the said statement, writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
