Taking into account the narrow prayer made at the time of hearing of the writ petition, the Writ Petition itself is disposed of in the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner was appointed as an Assistant cook on 20.03.1995. Later, he was brought into regular time scale as a Cook on 08.02.2007.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that one Damayanthi, who was appointed along with the petitioner, was regularised from the date of her initial date of appointment.

5. In these circumstances, the respondents 1 and 2 are directed to pass orders on the representations of the petitioner dated 16.04.2015 and 11.06.2015 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, and more particularly in the light of the proceedings of the District Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare Officer, Thiruvallur, passed in Na.Ka.No.W1/44863/02 dated 20.10.2004.
