ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent not to harass the petitioner unnecessarily.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner is an accused in Crime No.342 of 2015 and he was arrested and released on bail and that, he has also complied with the bail condition. He further submitted that the petitioner is not required for further enquiry.

Recording the same, the criminal original petition is closed and the respondent police is directed not to harass the petitioner in Crime No.342 of 2015, unless, he is involved in any other cognizable offence. If the police wants to conduct further enquiry, liberty is given to the police to issue summons under Section 160 Cr.P.C. for the appearance of the petitioner.
