Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records from the files of the IIIrd Additional Labour Court, Chennai in I.D.O.P.No.156 of 2019 and quash its Impugned Award made therein dated 21.03.2022 insofar as it has denied the claim of the 1st petitioner service benefits with continuity of service, with backwages and with all other attendant benefits.

Today, the learned counsel on either side has filed a Joint Memo. As per the Joint Memo, a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- (Rupees Five Lakhs Only) has been paid through cheque bearing No.496264 dated 22.08.2025 drawn on HDFC Bank, RK Salai, Chennai as full and final settlement of all the claims of the legal heirs of the deceased employee Mr.Jaishankar. 2/4

2. The Joint Memo filed by the parties is recorded and the petitioners are at liberty to approach the appropriate authorities for gratuity amount, if any payable to them.

3. With the above said terms, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
