..Respondents Prayer: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to direct/restrain the second respondent, 3rd respondent, 4th respondent, 5th respondent or his agent from giving any interviews/Statement in print and digital media regarding the petitioner pending investigation in crime No.143 of 2017 and further directing the first respondent to take prompt and appropriate action against the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th respondent for tampering of witnesses and evidence in vital investigation of economic offence and on the file of the first respondent police.

This petition has been filed to direct/restrain the respondents 3 to 5 from giving any interviews/Statement in print and digital media regarding the petitioner pending investigation in crime No.143 of 2017 and further directing the first respondent to take appropriate action against them for tampering of witnesses and evidence.

2. When the matter taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) submitted that the the petition in Crl.OP.No.1378 of 2018 filed as similar nature and the same was dismissed as infructuous and he further submitted that this petition is also not maintainable.

3. In view of the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
