Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, prays to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent herein to consider the claim of the Petitioner and pass appropriate orders for retention as Jeep Driver in petitioner unit of appointment i.e. Acharappakkam Panchayat Union and to direct the 2nd to 5th Respondent to desist from taking any steps to transfer the petitioner, pending such consideration and passing of orders by the first respondent herein.

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed to direct the first respondent herein to consider the claim of the Petitioner and pass appropriate orders for retention as Jeep Driver in petitioner's unit of appointment i.e. Acharappakkam Panchayat Union and to direct the 2nd to 5th Respondent to desist from taking any steps to transfer the petitioner, pending such consideration and passing of orders by the first respondent herein.

2. The learned Counsel for the petitioner states that for the last couple of years, there is no interference and he has been allowed to continue as Jeep driver in Acharappakkam Panchayat Union.

3. Considering the same, the writ petitioner does not want to press the writ petition.

4.Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed as not pressed. No cost. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 06.06.2023 Index: Yes/ No nr 3/5
