ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences under Sections 406, 420, 506(i) r/w 120(b) IPC, in Crime No.22 of 2020, on the file of the respondent/Police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused persons had purchased huge raw materials from the defacto complainant, which is used for manufacturing textiles. Thereafter, they have not paid the amount. Hence, the complaint was registered.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He would further submit that for the co-accused this Court has granted anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Hence, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that the co-accused is a commission agent and the petitioner is the main accused in the crime who had cheated many persons and as per the F.I.R the total amount cheated by the petitioner and other accused persons is around Rs.9,54,20,252/- . 5. Considering the fact that the amount involved in this case is very huge and the petitioner is the main accused in the crime, this court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
