Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a WRIT OF MANDAMUS directing the respondent authority to give permission and police protection to conduct cultural Programme (Adal Padal Nigalchi) in the event of Kattuveppilaipatti Village, Sesanchavadi-Ambedkar Nagar, Arulmigu Sree Sakthi Mariamman Temple Festival at Valapadi Taluk, Salem District on 13.05.2022 between 06.00 P.M. to 11.00 P.M. by considering the petitioner's representation dated 23.04.2022.

ORDER
It is represented by the learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents that subsequent to the filing of this writ petition, the petitioner has given a letter to the respondent police that the cultural programme scheduled on 13.05.2022 is not going to be conducted. He has also produced a copy of the said letter before this Court.
