3. Copy of the representation dated 20-9-2019 given by the petitioner to the various authorities with Postal Receipts as additional evidence in Crl.A. No.131 of 2026.

ORDER

This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed seeking permission for the Petitioner/Appellant to adduce additional evidence and mark the following documents as additional evidence in Crl.A.No.131 of 2026: (i) Copy of the complaint dated 25.09.2019 given by P.W.1 to the Respondent against Petitioner;

(ii) Copy of the Accidental Register dated 26.09.2019 issued by the Government Hospital, Tambaram/Chrompet; (iii) Copy of the representation dated 20.9.2019 submitted by the Petitioner to various authorities, along with postal receipts.

Heard the learned counsel for the Petitioner/Appellant and the learned Public Prosecutor (Criminal Side) appearing for the Respondent. 3.

The learned Public Prosecutor appearing for the Respondent submitted that the aforesaid documents were available during the trial. However, the same were not marked as exhibits before the Trial Court. He further submitted that the petition seeking permission to mark the said documents as additional evidence may be allowed.

Considering the submissions made on either side, and the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, this Court is inclined to allow the petition and receive the aforesaid documents as additional evidence in order to afford a fair opportunity to the Petitioner/Appellant. 5.

Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is allowed as prayed for.

08-06-2026 (2/3) klt Note: Registry is directed to mark the aforesaid three documents as Court Exhibits, namely, Ex.C1, Ex.C2 and Ex.C3, and list the matter in the usual course, if it is otherwise in order.
