Respondent Prayer: Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C to modify the order dated 23.06.2020 in Crl.O.P.No.9209 of 2020 by waiving off payment of deposit of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty-Five Thousand Only) to Chief Minister Public Relief Fund, Tamil Nadu and to appear before the respondent police for a period of 4 weeks daily at 10.30 a.m., in the terms of aforesaid order.

O R D E R

The petition is filed seeking to modify the anticipatory bail conditions imposed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.9209 of 2020 by an order dated 23.06.2020.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this Court while releasing the petitioner on anticipatory bail imposed the conditions as follows:

"a) The Petitioner and their sureties shall affix their photographs and left thumb impression in their surety bond and the Magistrate may obtain a copy of their Aadhar Card or Bank pass book to ensure their identity.

b) The Petitioner shall deposit a sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only) to the credit of the Chief Minister Public Relief Fund, Tamil Nadu and shall produce the said receipt before the Court of law.

c) The Petitioner shall report before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m., for a period of four weeks and thereafter as and when required".

Since the condition imposed by this Court is onerous, the petitioner seeks modification of the same.

3. Heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor and perused the materials available on record.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the depositing condition, imposed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.9209 of 2020 by an order dated 23.06.2020, is modified to the effect that the petitioner shall deposit a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) to the credit of the Chief Minister Public Relief Fund, Tamil Nadu.

5. The other conditions imposed by this Court shall remain intact and the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and to file final report within the period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, the Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is modified.
