ORDER

The petitioner apprehends arrest for the alleged offence under Section 296(b), 115(2), 118(1) and 351(3) of BNS, 2023 in Crime No. 48 of 2026, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The allegation against the petitioner is that due to previous enmity, petitioner attacked the defacto complainant using knife, due to which, defacto complainant sustained stab injuries. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready to abide by any stringent condition that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prayed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that that in the alleged occurrence, defacto complainant sustained grievous injuries. He further submitted that the petitioner is a history sheeter.

3. Considering the nature of injuries sustained by the defacto complainant and the fact that the petitioner is a history sheeter, this Court is of the view that the petitioner does not deserve anticipatory bail.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 27.03.2026 sma 2/4
