ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed directing the second respondent Police herein to issue non traceable certificate in respect of the Documents viz., Original partition deed dated 13.12.1990 as document No.2607/1990 on the file of Sub Registrar Office, Avinashi within the time period fixed by this Hon`ble Court.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner had lost his Original partition deed dated 13.12.1990 as Document No.2607/1990 on the file of Sub Registrar Office, Avinashi. Hence, he gave a complaint dated 07.10.2022 before the respondent police.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that the Director General of Police issued a Circular Memorandum in Rc.No.2029209/General.1(1)/2022 dated 01.04.2022 with regard to the procedure to be followed for the issuance of Non Traceable Certificate. He further submitted that if the petitioner gives the representation following the instructions given in the Circular
Memorandum, necessary action would be taken.
4. Recording the same, this Court directs the petitioner to give fresh representation based on the instructions given in the Circular Memorandum Rc.No.2029209/General.1(1)/2022 dated 01.04.2022. On receiving such representation, the respondent Police is directed to dispose of the representation within a period of four weeks thereafter.
5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
