The petitioner, who was arrested on 12.04.2021 for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 307. 397. 506(ii) IPC in Crime No.403/2021, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. When the matter is taken up, it is stated by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the petitioner is detained under the Goondas Act.

3. Taking note of the fact that the petitioner is detained under Goondas Act, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.
