The petitioner herein seeks withdrawal of Look Out Notice enabling him to travel from Chennai to Singapore for a period of 30 days to get medical treatment. The petitioner is one of the accused in Crime No.54 of 2022 for the alleged offence under Section 406 & 420 IPC. 2.
Earlier when the petitioner sought for similar request, this Court after considering the medical records granted him permission to visit Singapore between 20.10.2023 and 20.11.2023 on certain condition. 3.
While the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner produced the appointment letter of the doctor, who is at Singapore and seeks for 30 days permission to leave the country.

Considering the reason stated for leaving the country and visit Singapore for his medical check up, the petition is allowed on the following condition that the petitioner shall file an affidavit before the Judicial
Magistrate No.1, Alandur giving exact date of his departure and arrival along with photo copy of the flight ticket. He shall provide the contact details at Singapore and undertake to make himself available for investigation as and when he is called for by the Investigating Officer. Before leaving India, the petitioner shall provide his itinerary for his 30 days till he return back to India. He shall surrender his passport at Singapore Embassy immediately on landing at Singapore and shall collect it back on return to India. This permission to stay in Singapore will be for 30 days. On expiry of 30th day, soon after return he should report before the Investigating Officer at Chennai and also appear before the CCB, Tambaram Commissionerate.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) states that A2 is absconding and yet to be secured. This petitioner who is A1 is refusing to disclose the whereabouts of A2. If the respondent police has any information that the petitioner voluntarily withholding information about A2, that may be brought to the notice of this Court and such case appropriate order will be passed for cancellation of permission granted.
