ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to execute the lease agreement for quarrying and carrying away the minor minerals in favour of the petitioner in S.No.399/1 (Part-B) at Kallukurukki village, Krishnagiri District to an extent of 1.00.0 Hectares for a period of 10 years in light of the proceedings in Roc.No.1251/2018/mines dated 09.12.2019.

2. There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Heard the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that already the lease agreement was executed in favour of the petitioner on 10.01.2023. Subsequently, the said agreement was challenged by the petitioner by way of statutory appeal before the Commissioner of Geology and Mining and the same was allowed in his favour by an order dated 25.01.2023. Therefore, the prayer sought for in this writ petition become infructuous.
