Respondents Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to disburse the grand-in-aid towards salary and allowance w.e.f. 07.07.2014 to 17 Assistant Professors working in the petitioner college.

The Director of Collegiate Education, namely, the first respondent herein, has issued proceedings in Na.Ka.No.21663/G3/2011, dated 04.07.2014, permitting the petitioner to fill the posts, for which the above said persons are appointed. Thereafter, based on the aforesaid letter of the first respondent, Manonmanian Sundaranar University has granted approval for the qualification of the said persons under Section 15 of the Tamil Nadu Private Colleges Regulation Act on 10.04.2015 with effect from 07.07.2014.
3. In view of the aforesaid letters dated 04.07.2014 and 10.04.2015 referred to above, a direction is hereby issued to respondents 1 and 2 to sanction grant in respect of the posts to which the above persons are appointed, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. Writ Petition is allowed. No costs.
