ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 3 and 4 to survey and demarcate the property, which according to the petitioner is owned by him, based on his representation dated 26.02.2024 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner had given representation on 26.02.2024 to the official respondents for the aforesaid purpose. Since the same has not been considered

till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3. Mr. R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4. Since no adverse orders are passed against the respondents 5 and 6, notice to the respondents 5 and 6 is dispensed with by this Court.

4. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.

5. No prejudice will be caused to the respondents 3 and 4 if the said authorities are directed to survey and demarcate the boundaries of the petitioner's property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, after hearing the objections of the respondents 5 and 6 and any neighbouring land owners as well as any other third party, whom they deem it fit to enquire. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of in the following manner:- (a) Before surveying the lands in question, the respondents 3 and 4 are directed to issue notice to the respondents 5 and 6 as well as the neighbouring land owners, and also to any other third party, whom they deem it fit to enquire.

(b) After receiving objections if any and after

considering the same, the respondents 3 and 4 shall conduct survey and demarcate the boundaries of the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No Costs.
