Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a WRIT OF HABEAS CORPUS to call for the records in connection with the order of detention passed by the 3rd respondent dated 21.04.2022 in C3/D.O.No.27/2022 against the petitioner's husband viz., Srinivasan, aged 60 years, S/o.Raja Gounder, confined in the Central Prison, Vellore and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenue before this Court and set him at liberty.

[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in C3/D.O.No.27/2022 dated 21.04.2022, detaining her husband as "Bootlegger" under Section 2(b) of Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.4304, Home, Prohibition and Excise (IX) 2/4

Department dated 11.07.2022 and he has also produced a copy of the said Government Order.
