This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvottiyur to Expedite the proceedings of the private complaint in C.M.P. No.5502 of 2018 within the stipulated time.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that despite the private complaint filed by him in the year 2018, the same has not been decided and taken on file by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvottiyur. Hence, seeks for a direction of expeditious disposal.

3.The relief sought for by the petitioner is limited.

Thereby, there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvottiyur to dispose of the private complaint pending on its file in C.M.P. No.5502 of 2018 expeditiously and decide the matter on its own merits. This petition stands disposed of accordingly.
