O R D E R This Writ Petition is filed for the issuance of the Writ of Mandamus directing the First Respondent Sub-Registrar not to register any document in respect of the property comprised in Survey No.426/1 426/3 and 426/2 in all measuring an extent of 2.10 acres of Angarayanallur Village, Udayarpalayam Taluk, Ariyalur District, if presented for registration by the Third Respondent.

2. When this case was listed on 08.12.2020, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner was absent and hence the matter was adjourned to 16.12.2020. When the case was taken up for hearing on 16.12.2020, once again there was no representation for the petitioner and hence it is further adjourned to 05.01.2021. Since there was no representation for the petitioner on 05.01.2021, this Court adjourned the matter to 06.01.2021, to be listed under the caption "For Dismissal". Even today, there is no representation for the petitioner. Hence, this Court is of the view that no useful purpose will be served by adjourning the matter further.

3. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 06.01.2021 Index:Yes/No Speaking order / Non speaking order bkn 2/4
