ORDER
The petitioner challenges the order of the 3rd respondent dated 18.03.2024 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to select and appoint the petitioner in the post of Sub-Inspector of Police with all service benefits.
2. The petitioner participated in the selection process to fill up the post of Sub-Inspector of Police in the year 2023. After the results were published, the same were challenged before this Court and this Court found that three key answers in respect of three questions were wrong and directed that three marks should be granted to the selectees and accordingly directed to re-publish the results. However, the said benefit was not granted to the petitioner and therefore,
the present Writ Petition.
3. A counter affidavit is filed. Apart from contesting the matter on the other grounds, paragraph No.11 states the following:- "It is submitted that the petitioner herein Tr.N.Suresh having secured lesser marks in the written test was not eligible for Viva Voce in the ratio of 1:2 under his respective category like Thiru.R.Prabakaran and C.Murugesan. The revision of marks based on new expert committee opinion for 3 questions was also carried out for this petitioner also. The details of revised marks for Tr.N.Suresh, Thiru.R.Prabakaran and C.Murugeswaran three petitioners are given in the table below:- Sl.

4. From the above, it would be clear that even if the said three marks are granted, the petitioner does not come within the zone of consideration. In view thereof, this Court cannot come to the aid of the petitioner and no further relief can be granted to the petitioner.
5. Finding no grounds to grant any relief to the petitioner, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
