Writ Petitions have been filed praying for issuance of a writ of certiorarified mandamus, to call for the records pertaining the proceedings of the second respondent in his proceedings AE2/73931/07, dated 10.04.2008, quash the same and direct the respondents to fix the petitioners in the seniority list from the date on which the petitioners have joined as Watchmen in the Administrative Section of the office of the respondents.

O R D E R

Though the prayer is to quash the proceedings, dated 10.04.2008, of the second respondent relating to fixation of seniority of the petitioners, learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that he would be satisfied if the representation of the petitioners, dated 09.03.2015, to the second respondent is disposed of in the light of the order of this Court passed in W.P.MD.No.1157 of 2010, dated 14.12.2012, which was confirmed by a Division Bench in W.A.MD.No.635 of 2013, within a stipulated period.

2. Mr.L.P.Shanmugasundaram, learned Government Advocate, takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

3. In view of the narrow prayer made, these Writ Petitions are disposed of, directing the second respondent to pass appropriate orders on the representations of the petitioners, dated 09.03.2015, relating to fixation of seniority, in the light of the orders passed by this Court in W.P.MD.No.1157 of 2010, dated 14.12.2012, which was confirmed by a Division Bench in W.A.MD.No.635 of 2013, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, the connected M.P.Nos.1 of 2015 are closed.
