The petitioner who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 420 IPC r/w 120b, 34 IPC in Crime No.276 of 2023, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the accused started a public limited company in the name and style of Star World and after starting this software company, they started collecting deposits from the public by assuring that they will give high rate of interest and the capital will be return within 3 months. After collecting substantial amount, they absconded. Hence the complaint.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He would further submit that the petitioner had never gave any promise to collect the amounts and he never invite any depositors by giving promise to launch a new app or release any 3D dimensions books. vkr 4.The learned Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the respondent Police would submit that the total amount involved in this case is near about Rs.4,00,00,000/- and the amount was not recovered and even in the FIR, the defacto complainant gave an information about the amount was paid to the petitioner.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the total amount involved in this case, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
