This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the charges framed in C.C.No.21 of 2021 on the file of the Special Judge, Special Court under TANPID Act, Coimbatore.

representation on behalf of the petitioners.

3. Mr.A.Gokulakrishnan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the prosecution evidence was already over and the case is also posted for defence side evidence on 08.06.2022.

4. Since the evidence was already over, the question of quashing entire proceeding does not arise. Hence, a direction is issued to the Trial Court to expedite the trial and dispose of the matter on merits within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of. Consequently, connected Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
