By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up and disposed of at the admission stage itself.
2. This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to issue a Writ of Certiorarified mandamus to call for the records relating to the letter issued by the first respondent dated 09.11.2012 vide Letter No.8791/Ser.2[1]2011-3 [T.D.P.No.5/09]; to quash the same and consequently to direct the third respondent to accord promotion to the petitioner to the post of Deputy Tahsildar for the year 2009.
3. The case of the petitioner is that due to some vague allegations, he was issued with a disciplinary proceedings and pursuant to the same to prove his innocence, he also submitted his explanation. According to the petitioner, disciplinary proceedings were initiated and enquiry report was also furnished. Further, on receipt of the enquiry report, the petitioner submitted a representation to the third respondent as early as 07.01.2013. However, the same was not considered by the authority. Therefore, he preferred a writ petition in W.P.No.2105 of 2016 seeking a mandamus to direct the first respondent therein to consider and dispose of the same. Pending the said writ petition, panel was prepared for promotion to the post of Deputy Tahsildar. Therefore, the petitioner without any other option has preferred the present writ petition.

When the matter is taken up today for hearing, Mr.S.Vijayakumar, the learned counsel for the petitioner brought to the notice of this Court that the earlier writ petition filed by the petitioner seeking a mandamus has already been disposed of by this Court directing the first respondent to consider and pass final orders on the representation submitted by the petitioner.
5. In such view of the matter, no further order is necessary in this petition as the earlier writ petition filed by the petitioner has been disposed of by this Court subsequent to the filing of the present writ petition.
