This petition has been filed for a direction, to direct the respondent to conduct investigation in Crime No.448 of 2007 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Omalur Police Station, Omalur, Salem District and to file an altered charge sheet including all the accused persons who have committed the offences, before the competent Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous, and hence nothing survives for adjudication in this criminal original petition.
