JUDGEMENT (Judgement was delivered by S.M.Subramaniam J.) The Writ order dated 03.04.2023 in W.P.No.31331 of 2019 is under challenge in the present Writ Appeal.
2. The grievances of the appellant is that she had applied and appeared for NEET examination and secured 137 marks. The petitioner was a Type I Diabetic patient for 10 years. The said disease has not been notified as 'Disability' under the Disabilities Act. Thus, her application seeking MBBS admission under the Special category of disability was refused. Thus, the Writ Petition came to be instituted in the year 2019.
3. On account of the efflux of time, the relief sought for by the appellant lost its relevance. However, the legal issue raised in the Writ Appeal is kept open. With these observations, the Writ Appeal stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, are closed.
