O R D E R
The petitioner has filed this writ petition praying for issuance of writ of mandamus to direct the respondent to dispose of the appeal petition dated 20.04.2016, which has been filed against the order passed by the second respondent dated 07.03.2016.
2. Heard Mr.M.Pari, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Diwakar, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
3. When the case came up for hearing on 08.06.2016, the learned Special Government Pleader was directed to get instructions as to whether any appeal is pending on the file of the first respondent. Today, when the matter is heard, the learned Special Government Pleader submits that on verification it has been found that the appeal is pending and prays for reasonable time to be granted to the first respondent to dispose of the appeal petition, as remarks have to be called for from the second respondent.
4.In the light of the above facts, there will be a direction to the first respondent to consider and dispose of the appeal petition dated 20.04.2016 on merits and in accordance with law after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
