Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records relevant to the order in No.STM/ADM/0954 dated 23.7.2014 passed by the 3rd respondent and

quash the same as illegal improper and against the rule of law and thereby direct the respondents to permit the petitioner to withdraw the resignation letter dated 23.7.2014 and permit the petitioner to continue the service as Junior Engineer-Civil Pallavaram in the respondents Cantonment Board Prayer in W.P.No.24539/2014:

Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of writ of Certiorari to call for the records relevant to the issuance of notification in No.STM/ADM/Employ/ 2014/1096 dated 13.8.2014 passed by the 3rd respondent and quash the same as illegal improper and against the rule of law.

2. When these Writ Petitions were taken up for final disposal on 29.1.2015, the learned senior counsel for the petitioner produced a copy of the proceedings dated 24.12.2014 indicating that the respondents have cancelled the order of termination and the petitioner was permitted to join duty.

3.In view of the order dated 24.12.2014, the learned senior counsel for the respondents took time to take instructions.

4. When the Writ Petitions were taken up for hearing today, the learned senior counsel for the petitioner submitted that pursuant to the order dated 24.12.2014, the petitioner joined duty and as such nothing survives for adjudication in the Writ Petitions.

5. In view of the subsequent developments and more particularly on account of the issuance of the order dated 24.12.2014, nothing survives for adjudication in the Writ Petitions.

6. The Writ Petitions are disposed of with the above observation. No costs. The connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
