By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner would claim that the property situated at S.Nos.1039, 1040, 1041 ad-measuring an extent of 12.50 acres situated in Kalapatti Village, Coimbatore, are ancestral in nature and the legal heirs of his great grant father Mottai Gounder @ Vanjee Gounder are in joint possession and enjoyment. The petitioner would further state that during January 2015, he made a verification to the entries in the patta in respect of S.No.1039, 1040 and 1041 and found that only the names of Thirumalai Gounder and Venkatachala Gounder are recorded as joint pattadars and the names of remaining legal heirs was not entered. In this regard, the petitioner sent a representation dated 17.2.2015 to the 1st respondent. Since no orders have been passed, have come forward with this Writ Petition.

3. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Thiru V.Subbiah, Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4. This Court, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for, without going into the merits, directs the second respondent to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 17.2.2015, in accordance with law, after putting on notice the persons concerned, and pass orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and inform the decision taken to the petitioner.
