ORDER
This writ petition has been filed to direct the 4th respondent to register the sale deed dated 14.01.2026 in respect of the property morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition presented by the petitioner for registration, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. The petitioner claims that there is no legal prohibition for the 4th respondent to register the sale deed dated 14.01.2026 presented by the petitioner for registration. According to him, despite presenting the sale deed for registration, the 4th respondent is yet to register the same. Page No.2 of 6
3. Mr.U.Baranidharan, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. On instructions, he would submit that within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, a final decision will be taken by the 4th respondent as to whether the sale deed presented by the petitioner can be registered or not. He would also submit that in case the 4th respondent decides to refuse to register the sale deed presented by the petitioner for registration, the 4th respondent shall issue a refusal check slip stating the reasons as to why the sale deed presented by the petitioner cannot be registered.

Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the petitioner to re-present the sale deed dated 14.01.2026 with the 4th respondent for registration, within a period of one (1) week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On re-presentation of the sale deed by the petitioner, the 4th respondent shall take a final decision as to whether the sale deed dated 14.01.2026 presented by the petitioner for the subject property can be registered or not, within a period of two (2) weeks thereafter. In case, the 4th respondent decides to refuse registration of the Page No.3 of 6
sale deed presented by the petitioner, the 4th respondent shall pass a speaking order as to why the sale deed presented by the petitioner cannot be registered. No costs.
