( Criminal Jurisdiction ) Thursday, the Sixth day of May Two Thousand Twenty One PRESENT The Hon`ble Mr Justice G.R.SWAMINATHAN CRIMINAL MISCELLANEOUS PETITION No.5776 of 2021 IN CRL OP.7035/2021 VENKATACHALAM [ PETITIONER ] Vs STATE REP BY [ RESPONDENT ] THE INSPECTOR OF POLICE, ALL WOMEN POLICE STATION, SANKARI, SALEM DISTRICT Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein the High Court will be pleased to modify the 1st condition that executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties of whom, one should be a blood related surety, imposed on the petitioner by this Honble court in Crl.OP.NO.7035 of 2021 order dated 27.04.2021 in Cr.No.03 of 2021.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.D.ARUN, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.L.CHARLES PREM KUMAR,Govt. Advocate ( Crl. Side) on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- The petitioner was granted bail by this Court vide order dated 27.04.2021. However, a condition was imposed that one of the sureties must be a blood surety.

The petitioner's counsel states that when the petitioner's wife went for execution of the surety, the same was refused and for this reason, he wants modification. Hence, the said condition is modified as "any other surety".
