ORDER

(The case has been heard through video conference) When the matter is taken up today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the revision has been filed against the order of granting interim custody of 13roosters to the accused in Cr.No.456 of 2020 registered by the respondent for the offence under sections 188, 269 and 11 (1)(n) of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960. Subsequent to the order, the respondent have filed the final report in the case and the case was taken up trial in CC.No.4187 of 2020 on the file of the XIV Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai.

2. The case has ended in conviction and thereafter the accused have returned the roosters to the custody of the Court https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

and they have been handed over to the petitioner/Blue Cross of India and he would submit that nothing survives for adjudication in this criminal revision.

3. Mr.S.Anand, learned counsel representing the petitioner would submit that the roosters are now under the custody of the petitioner/Blue Cross of India.

4. Recording the same, the criminal revision stands dismissed as infructuous.

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
