PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, seeking Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 09.07.2020 in respect of correcting the petitioner's date of birth in the Secondary School Leaving Certificate as 11.3.1997 and pass orders.

ORDER
The Director of Government Examinations, DPI Campus, College Road, Chennai 600 006, is suo motu impleaded as the second respondent.
2.This writ petition has been filed for the issuance of writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 09.07.2020 and to correct the Date of Birth of the petitioner in the Secondary School Leaving Certificate.
3.The case of the petitioner is that she has completed https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
her 10th standard in the year 2012 at Government High School, Anadarkuppam. The grievance of the petitioner is that in the Secondary School Leaving Certificate, she found that her Date of Birth was wrongly mentioned as 17.03.1997 instead of 11.03.1997. The petitioner made a representation to the first respondent to correct the date of birth in the certificate. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.
4.Mrs.V.Annalakshmi, learned Government Advocate, appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that the representation made by the petitioner has been considered and it has been handed over to the second respondent for carrying out necessary correction. The learned counsel further submitted that some time may be granted for carrying out the correction and to issue a fresh school leaving certificate to the petitioner. 5.In view of the above development, there shall be a direction to the second respndent to make necessary changes in the Date of Birth as 11.03.1997 in the Secondary School Leaving Certificate of the petitioner and issue a fresh certificate to the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
6.This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
