Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent to give permission to conduct cultural dance festival on 11.04.2019 during the Mariamman Festival at Thengalpalayam Village and Post, Rasipuram Taluk, Namakkal District, based on the representation given by the petitioner dated 07.04.2019 within a reasonable time.

2. The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to give permission to conduct cultural dance programme during Mariamman festival on 11.04.2019 in the Mariamman Temple at Thengalpalayam Village and Post, Rasipuram https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Taluk, Namakkal District, based on his representation dated 07.04.2019.

3. The learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents submitted that already a circular memorandum dated 31.10.2018 has been issued by the Director General of Police to all the Station House Officers/Inspectors indicating the conditions to be imposed while considering the grant of permission to "Aadal Padal Programme". Therefore, he submitted that the petitioner's representation will be considered by the third respondent in the light of the Circular already issued by the Director General of Police dated 31.10.2018.

4. Recording the above said submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of, by directing the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.04.2019 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law on or before 11.04.2019. No costs.
