O R D E R

(The case has been heard through video conference) Earlier, this Court while granting anticipatory bail to one of the accused, by an order dated 30.07.2020, directed the Special Court to complete the trial in C.C.No.88 of 2018 in R.R.No.5 of 2018 within a period of five months. Now, the learned Special Judge, I Addl. Special Court for Exclusive Trial of the cases under NDPS Act, Chennai sent a request stating that due to Covid-19 pandemic situation and the closure of the court, she was not in a position to complete the trial. Hence, she sought five more months time to complete the trial.

2. Considering the request made by the learned Special Judge, I Addl. Special Court for Exclusive Trial of the cases under NDPS Act, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Chennai, time granted by this Court is extended by four more months from today.
