ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for declaration declaring that the petitioner alone is entitled to receive the relief amount arising out of the 'Gaja' cyclone for the lands situated at Survey No. 305 Punja - 4 acres 34 cents, Sruvey No.306/1 Punja 72 cents, Survey No.306/3 Punja 55 cents, Survey No.307/1, Punja 33 cents, Survey No.307/2 Punja 3 acres 27 cents, Survey No.307/3 Punja 1 acres 36 cents, Survey No.307/4 Punja 21 cents, totally 10 acres 78 cents comprised in No.37,

Ashesham Revenue Village, Mannargudi Taluk, Mannargudi Sub Registration District, Nagapattiam Registration District.

2. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the entire relief under 'Gaja Cyclone' has been paid to the fourth respondent as per the revenue records. Therefore, the prayer sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous.

3. In view of the above submission, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. If at all he has any subsisting claim over the subject property, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the Civil Court. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
