The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.01.2017 to issue joint patta in Patta No.418 by adding this petitioner's name along with one Perama Gounder, son of Ramasamy and his daughter-inlaw Malliga's sons Prabhu and Babu with respect to the land situated in Pavapattu Village, Tiruvannamalai Taluk & District. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that inspite of the petitioner's representation dated 02.01.2017 for issuance of joint patta, the respondent has not considered the same yet. 3.Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader taking notice for the respondent submitted that the respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation in accordance with law.
4.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.01.2017 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, with regard to issuance of joint patta within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
