ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to give electricity service connection to the petitioner for the road side open well situated in S.No.331, Goundipalayam, Thokkavadi village, Tiruchengode Taluk, Namakal District.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.S.K. Rameshwar, learned Counsel appearing for the respondent filed counter of the third respondent, wherein, in paragraphs 4 to 6, the third respondent has stated as follows:

4. I submit that the Petitioner has applied for the well in middle of the land. Due to objection from the joint owner he applied for change of well and got change of well to the well near to the village road vide ref no: F/vz;/br/bgh-,& g-jp/nfhL-bjhEc-nfh fp/kh-vz;/ 03-14 ehs; 12/05/14/ Now he is taking water from the well near the village road using oil engine. To avail service to the Petitioner the Estimate was sanctioned and Notice has been issued to pay Rs.24500. He has paid the amount on 20.01.2015 vid Pr No.10419312001153120091 and entered his readiness on 20.1.2015.

5. I submit the applicant has paid the fees and he will be provided the service connection after getting allotment of materials and execution of the Extension work.

6. I submit that the estimate was already sanctioned for the road side open well and the consumer has paid the balance amount of Rs.24500 on 20.1.2015 and entered his readiness on 20.1.2015, TANGEDCO is ready to effect the service connection after completing the extension work within a period of Sixty days." 3.

From the above, it is clear that the respondents will provide the service connection after getting allotment of materials and execution of the extension work within sixty days.
