By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. The petitioner moved the 2nd respondent seeking cancellation of patta in respect of the lands situated in Survey Nos.1A and 2, 1 and 1A and 2, 1-1A & 2 and 2/2B and the said official, vide proceedings dated 07.08.2015, had ordered removal of Porkodi, Chitra, Gomathi, Geetha and Valarmathi and inclusion of the petitioner's name and his successors. The above said persons, aggrieved by the said order, filed an appeal before the 1st respondent and since no orders have been passed, the petitioner came forward to file this writ petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Govindasamy, learned Special Government Pleader accepting notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2.

This Court, taking into consideration the limited relief sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the same, directs the 1st respondent to consider and dispose of the appeal petition dated 31.08.2015 submitted by Porkodi, Gomathi, Chitra, Geetha and Valarmathi, on merits and in accordance with law, after putting on notice, the petitioner also and pass orders within a period of ten weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the appeallants therein as well as to the petitioner herein.

The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
