On 25.10.2025, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he has given up vakalath in the matter. Thus, this Court directed the matter to be listed on 03.11.2025, to enable the learned counsel for the petitioner to file a memo to the above effect.

2. On 03.11.2025, the learned counsel for the petitioner who had filed writ petition filed a memo informing this Court of he having given up vakalath in the matter. Thus, Registry was directed to delete the name of the learned counsel for the petitioner and reflect the name of the petitioner on the next date of hearing i.e., on 10.11.2025.

3. On 10.11.2025, despite the name of the petitioner shown in the cause list, there was no representation for the petitioner or alternate counsel and thus, this Court directed the matter to be listed on 14.11.2025 under the caption "for dismissal".

4. Today, when the matter is called, there is no representation for the petitioner either in person or through alternate counsel. 2/4

5. In view of the above, this Court is of the view that the petitioner is not interested to pursue the matter and accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
