ORDER

(1) The petitioner who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 08.04.2021 for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 294 [b], 336, 427, 392 397, 506[ii] of IPC, on the file of the respondent police, seek bail.

(2)The case of the prosecution is that on 08.04.2021, the petitioner is said to have robbed a cash of Rs.1200/- from the defacto complainant at knife point.

(3)The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is in judicial custody from 05.04.2021 and he is innocent and hence, seeks bail.

(4)The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions, submitted that the petitioner has been detained under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 on 11.05.2021 [yesterday].

(5)Taking note of the facts and circumstances of the case and also of the fact that the petitioner has already been detained under the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 on 11.05.2021, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
